Our extra-curricular program is secondary to academic work. Our primary focus is on preparing our learners for the future, therefore our emphasis on extra-mural activities is ensuring that our learners enjoy participating and being part of a team, rather than having added pressure to perform and achieve outstanding results.
We offer various sporting activities at our school, although each depends on interest and availability. We currently offer soccer, netball, equestrian, touch rugby, athletics and non-competitive archery and swimming.
We participate in eisteddfod and public speaking events throughout the year and pay specific attention to participation in the World Scholar's Cup - 33 of our learners entered this year's inter-school event and were all selected to represent South Africa (and BESA) at the finals in Bangkok, Thailand, however, only 16 of the 33 were able to attend.
